The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) is currently underway for its 51st edition, starting on September 10 and scheduled to continue until September 20, 2026. This year’s festival is anticipated to be lively, featuring 293 titles in the official selection and a star-studded lineup of celebrities such as Javier Bardem, Penélope Cruz, Cynthia Erivo, Helen Mirren, Léa Seydoux, Channing Tatum, and Michelle Yeoh making appearances.

Several notable events are set to take place during the festival, including an intimate “Making Waves With…” session featuring Hudson Williams, as well as “In Conversation With…” discussions with Lee Min-ho, Chris Rock, Rachel Morrison, and Andrew Scott. The upcoming TIFF Tribute Awards ceremony on September 13 will also recognize various industry talents.

While the festival has just begun, early glimpses of the red carpet have already captured attention. Here are some standout looks from the premieres so far, with updates to be added throughout the event for more fashion highlights.

Naomi Watts graced the premiere of “The Housewife” in a striking black-and-silver floral dress by Celine. Luke Evans, her co-star, opted for a sleek ensemble by Chinese fashion house Mithridate at the same premiere. Fan Bingbing chose a glamorous green strapless mermaid gown by designer Tony Ward for the premiere of “Being Heumann.” Ruth Madeley stunned in a sparkling navy gown at the premiere of the same film. Sebastian Stan looked dashing in a double-breasted suit over a white crewneck T-shirt for the premiere of “Fjord,” which claimed the Palme d’Or at Cannes this year. Charlie Heaton showcased his style in a striped shirt and pinstriped trousers at the premiere of the thriller series “Below,” with a chic tucked-in tie. Megan Rapinoe sported an oversized suit with a red cummerbund and feathered brooch at the premiere of the documentary “Rapinoe,” celebrating her athletic journey and activism.
