She finished with a time of one minute 48.11 seconds, outpacing second-place finisher Lara Colturi by 1.23 seconds.
This win marked Shiffrin’s 66th World Cup triumph in slalom and her 103rd overall, setting new records in both categories. The Swiss slalom world champion, Camille Rast, trailed behind Shiffrin, securing the third spot on the podium with a time of 1:49.52. Shiffrin’s upcoming challenges include a giant slalom event on Saturday followed by another slalom race on Sunday at Copper Mountain, the primary training location for the U.S. ski team.
