Iran has delivered its reply to the recent ceasefire proposal from the U.S. through Pakistani intermediaries, emphasizing a desire for negotiations to focus on bringing a permanent end to the conflict. However, U.S. President Donald Trump swiftly dismissed the response as “TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!” without elaborating on the specifics.
According to state TV, Iran aims to halt the war comprehensively, including in Lebanon where Israel is engaged in combat with the Iranian-supported Hezbollah militia. The proposal put forth by Washington pertains to reaching an agreement to cease hostilities, reopen the Strait of Hormuz, and scale back Iran’s nuclear activities.

Concerns were raised following the drone attack on the ship by Qatar’s Foreign Affairs Ministry, labeling it as a dangerous escalation jeopardizing regional maritime trade routes. The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations Centre refrained from disclosing specifics regarding the vessel’s ownership or origin.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu underscored the importance of removing enriched uranium from Iran, hinting at potential military actions to address the issue.
