The Toronto Maple Leafs front office has undergone further changes as the team recently announced the departure of assistant general manager Brandon Pridham. Additionally, Derek Clancey, the assistant general manager of player personnel, has also left his position. These changes follow the recent appointments of general manager John Chayka and senior executive adviser of hockey operations Mats Sundin. The team also recently terminated former head coach Craig Berube.
After going from Atlantic Division champions in the 2024-25 season to finishing last this year with a significant 30-point drop-off, the Maple Leafs are now gearing up for the upcoming NHL draft in June where they hold the first overall pick.
