It seems that the rumors about Tom Holland and Zendaya being secretly married hold some truth.
The couple, who first met on the set of the Marvel movie Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016, had previously announced their engagement. Zendaya was spotted wearing a diamond ring at the Golden Globes ceremony in January 2025.
Speculation about their secret marriage escalated earlier this year when Zendaya’s longtime stylist, Law Roach, implied during an interview with Access Hollywood at the Oscars that the wedding had already taken place.
In a recent interview with Esquire U.K., Holland seemed to confirm that the couple is now officially married.

Following Roach’s hint about the secret wedding, AI-generated images claiming to show the couple on their wedding day began circulating online. Zendaya clarified that these images were fake, even presenting a less sophisticated mock-up on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
Esquire U.K. questioned Holland about the AI images and whether he had to reassure any family members who thought they were excluded from the wedding.
He mentioned that his grandmother was worried, but the rest of the family was present, stating, “That’s all you’ll get on that,” to the magazine.
Holland expressed admiration for how the couple supports each other off-screen, noting, “Our industry can be quite stressful, and having a strong relationship is a great source of stability over time.”
“I’ve found my soulmate. She’s my closest companion, and I’ve never been happier than when I’m with her. I feel incredibly supported and secure with her,” Holland added.

Fans will have the chance to see the newlyweds together at upcoming red carpet events. Zendaya and Holland are co-stars in two upcoming films: The Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
