Trump Grants Pipeline Permits for U.S.-Canada Oil Movement

U.S. President Donald Trump has granted multiple pipeline permits, including one for a new pipeline project, to aid in the movement of crude oil and petroleum products between the United States and Canada. The White House released documents confirming this action. The permit for construction was specifically issued to the Bakken Pipeline Company for pipeline facilities located in Burke County, North Dakota.

Additionally, permits were issued for the maintenance and operation of existing pipelines at border locations. These permits include authorization for the Bakken Pipeline Company to manage and maintain current pipeline facilities in Burke County, North Dakota, as well as for Enbridge Energy to oversee and maintain existing pipeline facilities in St. Clair County, Michigan, and Pembina County, North Dakota.
